Brendan grew up in Merseyside, where he joined the Off The Ground Youth Theatre, he trained with them until 2001, but still regularly performs with the company's professional ***** wing on their european tours. He also won a place at the prestigious Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Young Peoples Theatre Company (formally 'The Everyman Youth Theatre'): who's members have included, Stephen Graham, Paul McGann, Ian Hart and David Morrissey among many others. He attended Wirral Metropolitan College in Merseyside, where he regularly performed at the Glenda Jackson Theatre. On graduation from the college in 2001 he was awarded their 'Student of the Year' Award and was also awarded a Gold Medal in Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts: LAMDA's Alumni includes Jim Broadbent, Richard Harris, David Suchet, Benedict Cumberbatch, Brian Cox and Donald Sutherland among othersHe went on to train for his BA Honors Degree in Acting at the prestigious Bretton Hall College, a drama school in West Yorkshire, whose graduates included Richard O'Brian, Key Mellor, and The League of Gentlemen's Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith.His performances have been called: "Fantastic" & "Wonderful" By the late Oscar Nominated Actor & Director Dennis Hopper and he has a RTS Award for the Short Film 'Greasepaint'. Brendan has appeared in both National and International Advertising Campaigns and Commericals for leading brands, in European and UK Theatre Tours, Live Radio, Music Videos, Feature Films and Live Events, and as a Cabaret Compere and Performer.He has worked with such Film and Television companies as: Warner Brothers, Universal, Vertigo Films, Film ****, Talkback Thames, Hat Trick Productions, Endemol, ***, M&C Saatchi, Serious Pictures, Hardy Pictures, ITV, ***** Apache Films, and many ****.
